How long is each game?
You have 60 minutes to escape plus 20 minutes prior for game prep and another 10 minutes after for debriefing for a total of about 90 minutes at Escape on 13th.
What makes Escape on 13th different?
Simply, we specialize in immersive entertainment. If you want to take a trip to an Egyptian tomb but can't afford to fly to Egypt, come play Curse of Anubis! You can't get the experiences we offer anywhere else. Our customer reviews have included, "It's like starring in a movie!" Ultimately, you won't know the Escape on 13th magic until you come and experience it yourself!
How many people can play at the same time?
Up to ten (10) people can play in the game at the same time.
What if we don’t have the minimum number of People to play?
All of our games require a minimum number of participants to guarantee your game reservation will be played. If you don’t have the minimum spots booked in your game then you can book with the hope that others will join you in your adventure. If this doesn’t occur, however, you will be given the opportunity to find additional participants to play with you, reschedule, or receive a full refund.
Will we be playing with strangers?
Except under special COVID-19 policy, if you do not book a complete game you may have strangers playing with you. However, if you book a complete (or private) game then no one else will be added.
Can we just show up or do we need to make reservations?
We encourage making reservations ahead of time to ensure you get to play when and which game you want. We staff our location only during times we have bookings. You can make reservations online up to two hours before any game time, after which, the game will disappear from the online system. Please call us at 385-200-1360 if you are in the area or want something to do and we will see what we can do to accommodate you!
Do you have normal business hours?
Yes, we accept bookings during our listed hours, but Escape on 13th is primarily by reservation and thus when we accept walk-ins varies based on our daily reservations. If you have questions about special events or times contact us here on the website or call 385-200-1360 and we will be happy to work with you!
Will we really be locked in a room?
The door you enter from is both an entrance and an emergency exit and is never locked. However, if you go out this door, you might not be allowed to reenter.
How old do you have to be?
The minimum age to play is eight (8) years old, with few exceptions. Anyone entering the room with you must purchase a ticket. If ANYONE in your group is between the ages of 8 and 15 years old, an adult (18+) responsible for the minor(s) MUST BE PRESENT AT THE FACILITY during game play and to sign their waivers.
What if we need to change our booking?
We understand life happens. If you can't make a reservation time or need to make changes to it, please call us at 385-200-1360 and use the "Contact Us" page of our website if we do not answer to ensure we have record of your request. If notice is given greater than seven (7) days ahead of your booking time, we can reschedule your booking for a time that works for you. Within seven (7) days of your booking time, you can still reschedule for a postponement fee.
I missed my reservation, what do I do?
No refunds for no shows.
What about companies and youth groups?
The escape games are perfect for corporate team building, youth group socials, and family gatherings! The entire focus of the game is communication and teamwork. Check out our discounts for larger groups here!
Can I book an entire room?
During special COVID-19 policy, all bookings are private. Otherwise, each escape game holds a max of ten (10) people. If you want the ENTIRE game for your group only, you must book all ten (10) spots.
Is it scary?
Scary just isn't the right word to describe our games. We do have a game we define as a thriller, which does include an intended jump scare, but the premise of escape games (being doomed in some way unless you escape) is inherently intense. If you have a particular concern, feel free to reach out to us via text or call. Our games are enjoyable and exciting for most people ages 8+.
I have a health condition, is it safe for me to play?
It really depends... some health conditions may pose considerable safety risks. If you have a pace-maker, severe heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, are pregnant, or have a physical disability which makes standing or bending difficult we may, for your safety, politely ask you not to participate. What should I wear?
We recommend you wear comfortable, nonrestrictive clothing.
Where do we park?
Please park in front of Escape on 13th in the parking lot.
What happens if I'm late?
Arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled game time. The game begins at exactly the time prescribed. If you are late you may not be allowed into the game. If you have booked the whole game you may choose to play but the amount of time that you are late will be subtracted from your 60 minutes of game play. If another game that day has openings, we may try to accommodate, however there will be no refunds.

What happens to my information?
We do not store your information. We use a third party ticketing company and waiver company which deal with all personal information whether that be: name, email address, phone number, card information, or billing address. In no case is your information shared or sold by Escape on 13th or these companies.
